Belinda Clark was born on 10 September 1970 in Nucales Australia. Her full name is Belinda Jane Clark.

Belinda Clark received her education from Newcastle High School.

Belinda Clark was the first female batsman to score a double century in Women's One-Day Internationals, scoring 229 * against Denmark's women's team in the 1997 World Cup, in 2011 she was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. Clark captained the Australian women's cricket team from 1994 to 2005, until her retirement. Clark was named Wisden Australia Cricketer of the Year in 1998, and has captained the Australian women's Test team since 1994. She was also the chief executive of Women's Cricket Australia. Clar played one Women's Twenty20 International and 89 Women's National Cricket League matches. On 16 September 2005, Clark announced his retirement after playing in 118 ODIs and 15 Tests. After his retirement, Clark took a new role as manager of the Australian Cricket Academy in Brisbane. Clark became the first female player to be inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame during the 2014 Allan Border Medal ceremony. Clark was the manager of the National Cricket Center in Brisbane.
