Bhagat Singh was a prominent freedom fighter of India. Bhagat Singh Sandhu was a Jat Sikh, he could hardly forget the courage with which he fought the powerful British government for the freedom of the country. After the execution, the whole country had remembered his sacrifice very seriously. Bhagat Singh's last wish was that he be shot and killed. However, his wish was also ignored by the British government.

Bhagat Singh was born on 28 September 1907 in Lyallpur, Punjab. He was born in a Sikh family into a farmer family. His mother's name was Vidyavati Kaur and father's name was Sardar Kishan Singh. His father used to reduce the farmer in the fields and mother was a duodenum in the house.
In prison, Bhagat Singh and his colleagues conducted a hunger strike for 64 days. One of his companions, Yatindranath Das, gave up his life in a hunger strike. On 23 March 1931, Bhagat Singh and his two associates Sukhdev and Rajguru were hanged in Lahore Jail, Punjab at around 7.33 pm. Before going on the gallows, he was reading a biography of Lenin and when he was asked his last wish, he said that he was reading a biography of Lenin and that he should be given time to do it. It is said that when the jail authorities informed them that the time had come for their execution, they had said- "Stop! Take one revolutionary first. Kartar Singh, the father and uncle of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, was a member of the Ghadar Party led by Sarabha and Har Dayal. Ajit Singh was forced into exile due to pending court cases against him, while Swaran Singh died in Lahore in 1910 after his release from prison. He inherited the form of a revolutionary from his family. Due to which Bhagat Singh did not attend Khalsa High School in Lahore. His grandfather did not approve of the loyalty of the school authorities to the British government. He was enrolled in Dayanand Anglo-Vedic High School, Arya Samaji institution. Arya Samaj philosophy influenced him throughout his life.

The name Shaheed Bhagat Singh Kaal comes at the top of the number of martyrs, when he was young, when he used to go to the farm with his father in childhood, he used to ask why we cannot grow a gun in the ground. He had a feeling of love for the country from the beginning. Bhagat Singh was just 12 years old at the time of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. This incident had revolutionized Bhagat Singh forever. After which he established the "National Youth Organization" during his college days. In the Kakori case, Bhagat Singh was so caught up with the execution of four revolutionaries including Ram Prasad "Bismil" and imprisonment on 16 others that his party along with Pandit Chandrashekhar Azad joined the Hindustan Republican Association and gave him a new name Hindustan Socialist Republican Association.

The aim of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association was to create youth who could serve, sacrifice and suffer. When his family members were looking for a girl for their wedding, he ran away from the house and said that "now freedom will be my bride". Bhagat Singh, along with Rajguru, killed British officer JP Sanders on 17 December 1928 in Lahore as Assistant Superintendent of Police. He was fully assisted by the revolutionary Chandrashekhar Azad in this action. He was also a good writer, writing regularly for several newspapers in Urdu and Punjabi languages.

Bhagat Singh gave famous slogans like "Inquilab Zindabad" and "Destroy imperialism". Bhagat Singh remained in prison for nearly 2 years. During this time, he used to write articles and express his revolutionary views. His studies continued even while in jail. His articles written during that time and letters written to his relatives are still mirrors of his thoughts. His shoes, watch and shirt are still safe today. He also wrote an article in English in prison titled Why am I an atheist? Bhagat Singh and his associates were sentenced to death because they dropped a bomb in the National Assembly.
