Harmanpreet Kaur is an Indian woman player. She plays as an all-rounder for the Indian women's cricket team. He has played a total of 78 ODIs, 2 Tests and 68 International T20 matches for India so far (23 September). In November 2018, she became the first woman in India to score a century in a Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) match. In October 2019, during the series against South Africa, he became the first cricketer for India to play 100 international Twenty20 matches, either male or female.

Harmanpreet Kaur was born on 8 March 1989 in Moga, Punjab. His mother's name is Harmander Singh Bhullar who was a volleyball player and his father's name is Satwinder Kaur who was a basketball player. His parents are baptized Sikhs. She has a younger sister named Hemjit Kaur. She is a postgraduate in English and works as an assistant professor at Guru Nanak College in Moga.

Kaur's 171* is currently the second highest score by an Indian batsman in women's one-day internationals behind Deepti Sharma's 188 runs. Kaur also holds the record for the highest individual score for India in Women's Cricket World Cup history. Kaur now holds the record for the highest individual score, surpassing the previous record of 107* set by Karen Rolton in the knockout stage of a Women's World Cup match (171*).
