1996 – Neeru Chadha is a famous lawyer. He is the first Indian to become a judge of the International Tribunal of the Law of the Sea, a judicial body of the United Nations dealing with disputes related to the law of the sea. Neeru was elected for a term of 9 years.

31-Mar-1945 – Meira Kumar is an Indian politician and has been a member of the Lok Sabha five times. She was a United Progressive Alliance candidate in the 2017 Indian presidential election. Meera Kumar was born on 31 March 1945 in Patna. She is the daughter of former Indian Deputy Prime Minister Shri Jagjivan Ram. She first came to Parliament in the Bijnor Lok Sabha by-election held in 1985, defeating former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati and the powerful Dalit leader Ram Vilas Paswan.
24-Oct-1914 – 23-Jul-2012 – Laxmi Sehgal was a fighter for India’s freedom struggle. She was an officer of Azad Hind Fauj and Minister of Women Affairs in Azad Hind Government.
09-Jun-1949 – Dr. Kiran Bedi is a retired Indian Police Service officer, social worker, former tennis player and politician. In July 1972, she joined the Indian Police Service, becoming the first Indian woman to do so. Kiran Bedi is currently the Deputy Governor of Puducherry. He has also written two books named “It’s Always Possible” and “Leader and Governance”.
01-Oct-1945 – Ramnath Kovind is the current President of India. He was elected as the 14th President of the country on 20 July 2017. Ramnath Kovind was sworn in as the President of India on 25 July 2017 before the Chief Justice of the country’s highest court (Supreme Court) Jagdish Singh Khehar. He was nominated as a presidential candidate on 19 June 2017 by the ruling NDA alliance. He resigned from the post of Governor of Bihar on 20 June 2017, when he was elected as the presidential candidate by the NDA.

28-Aug-0195 – Justice JS Khehar is the 44th Chief Justice of India. He was sworn in as the Chief Justice on 04 January 2017 and held the post till 27 August 2017. Justice Khehar is the first Sikh Chief Justice of the country. 64-year-old Justice JS Khehar’s full name is Jagdish Singh Khehar and people also know him because of his strict mood.

01-Nov-1964 – Nita Ambani is the wife of India’s richest industrialist Mukesh Ambani and the founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation. Nita Ambani is the first Indian woman to join the International Olympic Committee (IOC). According to the rules, once a member of this committee is elected, that member remains in the IOC till the age of 70. Nita Ambani has received this honor at the grassroots level in India, from football to basketball and her contribution in the field of education and sports.
