India's largest bank, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced that it will buy four government securities (G-Sec) worth Rs 20,000 crore. After the announcement of the purchase of OMO, the yield on the benchmark 10-year G-Sec slowed by 3-4 basis points.
