Badrinath Dham located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand is one of the largest religious shrines in the world. Badrinath Dham is one of the oldest Dham in India, which is mentioned in most of the ancient Indian poems. Badrinath Temple History

There is no Historical evidence about the construction of this ancient and Grand temple, but on the basis of some records it is believed that this temple was built by Adi Shankaracharya in the 7th century. It is believed that Adi Shankaracharya visited Badrinath and Kedarnath as a dham, and later built the Badrinath temple there to make Badrinath famous as a dham.
