What is Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)?

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana is a flagship scheme launched to provide skill training to the young generation of India, with special focus on sophisticated curriculum, better training and trained trainers. In view of the problem of unemployment under Make in India, this scheme was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2015.

Objective of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana:

The main objective of this scheme is to encourage all the youth of the country and provide them training related to industries, which can help them to get employment. The training fee under this scheme is paid by the government. Through this scheme, the government provides skill training to the less educated or class 10th, 12th drop out (middle school dropouts) youth. Under this scheme, the government has set a target of imparting skill training to one crore youth by 2020. In this scheme, youth also have the facility to get loan, so that more and more people can join. This scheme is run through the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the newly formed Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship was formed in the year 2014 by the Narendra Modi government.

All types of training to be conducted under PMKVY scheme will be done by skilled trainers. To get training in different fields, different qualifications will be required. Therefore, before taking training in any technical field, the eligibility will be properly checked.
All the training programs will be conducted by Sector Skill Council ie SSC. All the people who train under this council will follow the norms of NOS and QPS.
The youth trained under this scheme will be given jobs under various government schemes of the Government of India like Make in India scheme, Digital India project, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan etc.
The youth trained under this scheme will be given a reward of Rs 8000 and a certificate of completion of the course on completion of the training. This certificate will be valid at all places, but to obtain it, it is mandatory to pass the examination to be taken at the end of the training.
India's great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been chosen as the brand ambassador of this scheme. Sachin is a role model for the young generation of the country. So they have been selected to encourage the youth.

Eligibility Criteria for Enrollment in Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana:

If any youth who is a citizen of India can take advantage of PMKVY scheme. Therefore, citizens of any state of India can get its scheme benefits.
The applicant needs to get registered under any one of the schemes for 1 year. The applicant must have knowledge of the technical field selected by him.
The youth who are eligible to do the job can apply for this skill development scheme.
Suppose you have done 10th, 12th or graduation, then you can apply for this scheme.
After the completion of the training, the award decided by the government under the scheme will be given to the applicant. All the reward will be given in one go.

How to do online registration (application) for Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana:

For this, first you have to submit the online form by visiting the official website of Kaushal Vikas Yojana http://pmkvyofficial.org/. While submitting the application form, you have to fill all the details like your name, address and email etc.
After this, the applicant will have to select the technical field in which he wants to train. In these, about 35 to 40 technical areas have been given like construction, electronics and hardware, food processing furniture and fittings, handicrafts, gems and jewelery and leather technology.

Funding Support of PMKVY Scheme:

A total fund of Rs 15,000 crore has been allocated by the government for this scheme. With the help of this fund, 24 lakh youth will be trained. The various sectors in which this fund has been used so far are described below:-

About Rs.220 crore will be spent to identify the first learners and give special attention to them.
About Rs 67 crore will be made to operate the scheme and make the youth aware under this development.
Rs 67 crore will be allocated under the scheme for counseling support. Under the counseling assistance program, students who have completed their skill training and are looking for jobs will be assisted.
An allocation of Rs 150 crore has been made to train the youth of the North-East region.
In this way, the government will also use the rest of the funds in the necessary youth welfare areas in the coming times.

Benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana:

The Government of India wants to end unemployment in the country and make the country a global center as a manufacturer and this is possible only when talent like construction work is present here. The government had constituted the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in the year 2014. For this, the government has formed 'National Skill Development Corporation', whose main objectives are as follows:-

Under this scheme, the applicant does not have to pay any fee, due to which many unemployed and untrained youth will get opportunities to get training in different types of work for free.
On completion of the training, they will be given financial assistance of about Rs 8000 by the government as prize money and also a job will be given by the government in the trained field.
The youth trained under this scheme will also be given a certificate after completing the course. This certificate will be valid in all the states of India.
During the training, the youth will get the help of experts, so that the youth will get full opportunity to hone their talent.
The minimum time limit for training in this scheme is 3 months and the maximum time limit is 1 year.
With the help of this scheme, skill centers will be established, which will help the government in completing various youth welfare schemes of the government.

Firstly you have 1500 Sq.Ft. There should be above space, which should have at least one class room for 30 children, one lab, one reception, one counselor room, one placement room, one soft skill room and separate toilets and water supply for male and female. There should be order.
