Mahashay Dharampal Gulati was an Indian businessman. He was the owner of M.D.H. (MDH) Spices Company. M.D.H. is an Indian spice company. At one time, Dharampal was forced to run a tonga to feed himself, and is currently the owner of a business group worth Rs 2000 crores.

Dharampal Gulati was born on 27 March 1923 in Sialkot, Pakistan. His father's name was Mahashay Chunni Lal Gulati, who was the founder of M.D.H. Company. His family migrated to India during the partition of India. The family spent some time in a refugee camp in Amritsar, and then they moved to Delhi in search of work.
Gulati was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Delhi for the last three weeks since 26 November 2020. He had a cardiac arrest on Thursday morning of 26 November 2020. He breathed his last on 3 December 2020 at 5:21 am.
Dharampal Gulati dropped out of school before completing his 5th standard. In the year 1937, he started helping his father in a small business.
