The Central Government has appointed Air Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria as the Chief of the India Air Force (IAF). Bhadauria, who took over as the Vice Chief of the Air Staff in May 2019, will take over from IAF chief BS Dhanoa, who will take over on September 30. Prior to being appointed as the Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Bhadauria was heading the Bangalore-based Training Command of the Indian Air Force.
