New Delhi: Delhi Police today entered the Limca Book of Records for solving the country's biggest cash heist case in November 2015. On November 27, the driver of a cash transit van allegedly fled with Rs 22.50 crore, prompting the entire South East district of the Delhi Police to swing into action. A senior police officer said that in less than 10 hours, the police tracked down the driver and recovered the stolen amount, except Rs 10,500, which the accused driver spent on food, liquor and some articles . After a felicitation program this morning, Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi tweeted: "DP enters Limca Book of Records for India's biggest ever cash recovery of stolen money of Rs 22.49 crore.
