PATA Travel Mart 2023
Ministry of Tourism inaugurated PATA Travel Mart 2023 in New Delhi. The 46th edition of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Travel Mart 2023 is being organized at the luxurious International Exhibition-cum-Convention Center (IECC), located at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The Mart was held from 4 to 6 October 2023, bringing together tourism professionals and business stakeholders from across the world. This edition of Travel Mart has been organized after a gap of three years due to the pandemic.
PATA President Peter Semon said that the tourism sector has improved after Corona. Now tourism in the Asia-Pacific region has recovered by 80 percent. He said that PATA is inspired by India's Travel for Life initiative, which focuses on cleanliness as well as holistic and harmonious development of tourist destinations.

- PATA Forum on Sustainability and
- B2B Mart also included
Other states including India also participated in this program:-
India is also actively participating in PATA Travel Mart. A designated pavilion for India at the Mart will provide an immersive experience of both known and lesser known destinations in India. Other state governments like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka, Telangana, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh and other ministries like Handloom Development Commissioner are also setting up stands and stalls to showcase their products. Although the mart is exclusively a B2B mart, it will help in showcasing the diverse dimensions of thematic products like wellness, adventure, heritage, culinary arts and arts & crafts from different states to the global audience.
