Dayanand Saraswati was born on 12 February 1824 in Tankara Morbi, Gujarat (India). His childhood name was Moolshankar Tiwari. His father's name was Karshanji Lalji Tiwari and his mother's name was Yashodabai. His father, being a tax collector, was a rich, prosperous and influential person of the Brahmin family.

There were several attempts to assassinate Dayanand Saraswati, but he survived these attempts several times, some of them being poisoned in some places, but he survived all such attempts due to his regular practice of Hatha Yoga. But on 30 October 1883 (at the age of 59) Ajmer, Ajmer-Merwara, British India (present-day Rajasthan, India) mixed small pieces of glass in his milk glass and died due to lack of adequate treatment.

Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay graduated in 1858 with a degree in Arts at Hooghly Mohsin College (founded by Bengali philanthropist Muhammad Mohsin) and later Presidency College, Kolkata. He later enrolled in the University of Calcutta. Examination to become the first graduate of the school. He later received a law degree in 1869. In 1858, he was appointed deputy collector of Jessore. He retired from government service in 1891 and became deputy magistrate. His years of work were completed with events that brought him into conflict with the ruling British. However, he was made a companion in the order of the Indian Empire in 1894.

The full name of Dayanand Saraswati was Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati. He was the founder of the Arya Samaj and a fast reformist monk. Unhappy over the death of his sister, he was determined to renounce the world and achieve liberation. By the age of 14, Dayanand Saraswati had memorized parts of the Yajurveda and other Vedas including Rudra, he was also proficient in grammar. The year 1863 to 1875 AD. Till then Swamiji kept coming to the country and spreading his ideas. He took up the work of propagating the Vedas and to complete this task, probably on 7 or 10 April 1875 AD. Established an institution called "Arya Samaj".

The rules and principles of Arya Samaj are for the welfare of the soul. The main purpose of this society is to serve the world, that is, to make physical, spiritual and social progress. Maharishi Dayanand attacked fearlessly to remove the social evils and superstitions and evils prevailing in the society. For this, he was also called the "Saints Warrior". In the year 1873, a book named 'Aryodeshyaratnamala' was published, in which Swamiji gave a definition of one hundred words. Many of these words are in common parlance. In the year 1881, Swami Dayanand published a book called "Gokarnanidhi". Cow protection movement. He is also credited with playing a major role in establishing Lala. Lala Lajpat Rai said - Swami Dayanand is my Guru. He taught us to think freely, to speak and to give freedom.

Among the prominent followers of Swami Dayanand, Lala Hansraj founded the "Dayanand Anglo Vedic College" at Lahore in 1886 and Swami Shraddhanand established the Gurukul at Kangri near Haridwar in 1901. Swami Dayanand Saraswati wrote many religious and social books during his lifetime. The early books were in Sanskrit, but over time he also wrote many books in Aryabhasa (Hindi), as Aryabhasa had more reach than Sanskrit. He named Hindi as "Aryabhasha". Swami Dayanand was a pioneer and an early man who used the Aryabhasha for better writing. Even today his followers are doing important work of education etc. in the country.

Maharishi Dayanand University in Rohtak, Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University in Ajmer, DAV University in Jalandhar are named after him. And in addition, industrialist Nanji Kalidas Mehta built the Maharishi Dayanand Science College and donated it to the Education Society of Porbandar after it was named after Swami Dayanand Saraswati.
