Smriti Mandhana is an Indian woman cricketer whose full name is Smriti Srinivas Mandhana who plays for the Indian women's cricket team. It mainly bats with the left hand who also scored two centuries in the Women's Cricket World Cup in 2017. It also does right arm swing bowling.

Smriti Mandhana was born on 18 July 1996 in Mumbai (Maharashtra). His mother's name is Smita and father's name is Srinivas Mandhana. In addition to his parents in his family, he also has a brother named Shravan. When Smriti was two years old, her parents settled in Madhavnagar, Sangli.

When she was two years old, the family moved to Madhavanagar in Sangli, Maharashtra, where she completed her schooling. His father and brother, Shravan, both played cricket at the district level for Sangli. She was inspired to take up cricket after her brother played in the Maharashtra State U-16 tournament. At the age of nine, he was selected in Maharashtra's Under-15 team.

When Smriti was only 11 years old, she was selected for Under-19 when Mandhana got her first success when she became the first Indian woman to score a double century in an ODI in October 2013. Playing for Maharashtra against Gujarat, he scored an unbeaten 224 off 150 balls in the West Zone Under 19 tournament at the Albique Cricket Ground in Vadodara. After that, in 2016, in the Woman Challenger Trophy, Mandhana scored 3 fifties while playing with India Red. Which includes the 62-run innings which he won in the final by putting the team to victory and has represented India in all three formats of Smriti Cricket. Smriti started her international career with ODIs against Bangladesh on 10 April 2013. After which he started his career in Test cricket against England in August 2014 at Wormsley Park. People came to know about Smriti from World Cup 2017 when Smriti played a valuable innings of 90 runs against England in the qualifiers. After this, he also played a 106-run Atishi innings against the West Indies. Mandhana was one of the most important players in the women's team who contributed to the team to reach the final. Smriti contributed 22 and 51 in both the innings of this Test.
