The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) organized the conference “Road to Paris 2024 Championing Clean Sports and Uniting for Anti-Doping” in New Delhi on 10 February. The objective of the program was to educate Indian athletes about the dangers of banned substances while emphasizing ethical competition.
CoE-NSTS inaugurated at NFSU
- On this occasion, Anurag Singh Thakur virtually inaugurated the Center of Excellence for Nutritional Supplement Testing (CoE-NSTS) at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
- NFSU, known for its expertise in forensics and cyber science, now has a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to testing nutritional supplements for athletes.
Launch of "The Paris Pinnacle" guide
- NADA unveiled "The Paris Pinnacle: NADA's Guide to Ethical Sporting", a comprehensive resource providing guidelines for athletes preparing for the Paris Olympics 2024.
- The purpose of the guide is to empower athletes to compete ethically and maintain fair play principles.
