A one-day national convention was organized at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi to mark the completion of 9 years of the current rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the program at Vigyan Bhavan. The theme of this conclave has been kept Seva Good Governance and Poor Welfare. The special guest of the program was Anurag Thakur.
Nine years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister on 26 May 2014. Since then Prime Minister Modi has consistently and aggressively promoted India's interests in numerous bilateral and multilateral meetings with leaders of other countries.Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has witnessed a paradigm shift towards people-centric governance.
The last 9 years of the government have been based on the Prime Minister's mantra of 'Reform, Perform, Transform'. Significant policies and initiatives have been implemented across sectors to improve last mile delivery of benefits across the country and enhance development outcomes.
The policies have focused on improving infrastructure, improving healthcare facilities, ensuring the welfare of farmers and protecting the underprivileged. India has seen phenomenal progress in youth-led and technology-led development and has also seen various reforms aimed at increasing the ease of doing business in the country. Another important aspect is enhancing national security and implementing initiatives to develop the remote areas of the country. Additionally, women-centric policies have played a major role in promoting women's participation in sectors such as defence.
Discussion of the works of the government through three thematic sessions
Discussion on the work done by the government in this program:-
- In the first theme, the achievements of the Modi government were told. Its theme has been kept 'India Surging Ahead'.
- The second theme is 'Jan Jan Ka Vishwas'. In this, experts related to the health sector gave their opinion.
- The third and final session deals with youth with the theme 'Yuva Yuva Shakti'.
Industry captains Sunil Bharti Mittal, Sangeeta Reddy, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Ritesh Agarwal, Debjani Ghosh, actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Rishabh Shetty, sarod player Aman Ali Bangash, players Nikhat Zareen, Viren Rasquinha and Akhil Kumar participated in the panel discussion.

A book titled “9 Saal: Sewa, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan” has been released by the PM Modi-led central government to mark its 9-year anniversary in two consecutive terms. In which it has been told that Agneepath is a game changer scheme for the armed forces, which will work to make the Indian Army one of the best in the world with a young, hi-tech and ultra-modern approach.
