Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully tested an indigenous cryogenic engine, which is capable of putting up to four tones of satellites in geostationary orbit. The test was carried out at Mahendragiri’s Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre in Tamil Nadu’s Tirunelveli district. Sources in Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre say that testing took place at 4.30pm and it went on for 635 seconds.

Wipro Limited’s quarterly result published in 21 April show that total income of the company increased by 2.4 per cent and total revenue to Rs. 12,140 billion in the fourth quarter of 2014-15 fiscal on a quarter-on-quarter basis. TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has mandated TSPs (Telecom Service Providers) for offering roaming tariff plans after it reduced upper limit of tariffs for both national roaming calls and SMSes. As per reports, while the national roaming outgoing call tariffs have been reduced from Re. 1 per minute to Rs. 0.80 per minute, national roaming outgoing local SMS rates have been slashed from existing Re. 1 to 25 paise per message.
