ISSF World Cup 2023

Young Indian shooter Rudraksh Balasaheb Patil won the gold medal in the 10m air rifle individual event at the ongoing ISSF Shooting World Cup in Cairo, Egypt on 21 February 2023. The 19-year-old Rudraksh defeated Maximilian Ulbricht of Germany with a score of 16-8 in the final.

It was Patil's second gold in the ongoing competition, having won gold in the 10m rifle mixed team event along with Narmada Raju. Earlier, Rudraksh had qualified for the ranking matches by finishing 7th in the qualification round with a score of 629.3. After finishing first in the ranking matches, Rudraksh qualified for the gold medal match.

The pair of Rhythm Sangwan and Varun Tomar won gold in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event, the pair of Rudraksh Patil and Narmada Raju won gold in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event, while Varun won the bronze in the 10m Air Pistol Individual event .
