When it was ready, about 23 astronomers were appointed in Jaipur for this. After which King Sawai Jai Singh bought Delhi's land as the main obsession. But when the king died in 1743 AD, the Jantar Mantar of Jaipur used to be the central observatory of the king.

After the death of the king, there was a civil war for succession in which Ishwar Singh's successor supported the observatory. Later, in the Vedashala, between 1778 AD to 1803 AD, Pratap Singh was renovated by rebuilding Jantar Mantar. But this led to the end of the activities of the observatory and later it was cloudy in a gun factory by Pratap Singh. After which, between 1835 AD and 1880, Ram Singh repaired the equipment of Jantar Mantar, causing this observatory to work again.
