His full name was Begum Sahiba Zeenat Mahal. She promoted his son Mirza Jawan Bakht as the heir to the throne of Mirza Nath-ul-Mulk Bahadur, the remaining elder son of the emperor. But it was not accepted due to the British primitive policy. She was his favorite consort, who ruled the Mughal Empire on behalf of Emperor Bahadur Shah II Zafar. Zeenat Mahal married Bahadur Shah II on 19 November 1840 in Delhi. Begum Zeenat Mahal, who encouraged Bahadur Shah Zafar in the revolution of 1857, had said in a hurry that - "This is not the time to entertain by saying Ghazals." She lived at her own mansion in Lal Kuan. In 1858, Begum Zeenat Mahal also moved to Burma (present-day Myanmar) along with Bahadur Shah Zafar. Which ended the Mughal Empire.
