Microsoft's AI odyssey

Microsoft India has unveiled the 'AI Odyssey' initiative, which aims to train 100,000 Indian developers in the latest AI technologies. Emphasizing AI as the future of innovation, Microsoft underlines India's leadership in tech talent. The program aims to equip developers with the skills needed to execute AI projects in line with business goals.

Program Overview

The program provides a comprehensive learning experience that helps developers acquire and demonstrate the relevant skills needed to execute critical projects using AI technologies that align with business goals and outcomes. To participate in the program, developers must register at aka.ms/AIODyssey and gain access to learning modules and resources. The month-long program is open to all AI enthusiasts in India, regardless of experience level or background. Divided into two tiers, participants must complete by January 31, 2024.

Level One: Learning Azure AI Services

The first level of the program teaches participants how to use Azure AI services. They will learn how to build and deploy AI solutions for different scenarios. This level provides resources, code samples, and guides to help participants master practical AI skills.

Level Two: Proving AI Skills

The second level of the program challenges participants to prove their AI skills. They will complete an online assessment with interactive laboratory tasks. Successful participants will earn a Microsoft Applied Skills Credential. These credentials verify their ability to solve real-world problems with AI.

The finale offers a chance to win VIP passes for the Microsoft AI Tour in Bangalore on February 8, 2024.
