Who is called Miss World or Vishwasundari?

Miss World Corporation, London selects the best versatile beauty 'Vishwa Sundari' (Miss World) from among the beauties of different countries of the world every year in December. It is an international beauty pageant which is organized every year for women. It started from the year 1951. In this, 50,000 pounds are given as a reward.

Miss World or Vishwasundari 2020:

No competition was held in this year 2020 due to Corona or COVID-19 pandemic. Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica won the Miss World 2019 title. She was crowned Miss World 2018 by Vanessa Ponce de Leon. Toni-Ann Singh is a Jamaican American singer and beauty queen. She was previously crowned Miss Jamaica World 2019 and is the fourth Jamaican woman to win Miss World. Vanessa Ponce de Leon was the first Mexican woman to win the Miss World title.

From India's side, 2018 Miss India Anukreethy Vas participated in this competition, but she could not make her place in the top 12. A total of 118 contestants participated in the 68th edition of the Miss World 2018 international beauty pageant held in Sanya city, China on December 08, 2018. So far, 6 women from India have won the title of Miss World, including Manushi Chhillar (2017), Priyanka Chopra (2000), Yukta Mukhi (1999), Diana Hayden (1997), Aishwarya Rai (1994) and Rita Faria ( 1966) is included.
