Y20 Summit
Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur launched the Y20 Summit theme, logo and website at the curtain raiser event of Y20 Summit India in New Delhi. The summit will provide youth and the world alike a platform to shape the way we develop. India is hosting the Y20 Summit for the first time and Y20 is a platform that gives youth the freedom to express their views and ideas on G20 priorities.
What is Y20?
Y20 is a platform that gives youth the freedom to express their views and opinions on G20 agreements. Along with this, they bring out many files which are presented to the leaders of G20 countries. This engagement group was started in 2010. The main objective of India in this Youth20 engineering group is to provide a platform to the young leaders of the G20 world from where they can present their views.
Purpose of the Y20 Summit
The main objective of the Y20 summit is to promote youth engineering globally. Through this platform, including the youth of G20 countries, the youth of the guest country invited by India can also share their views and decisions. Planning of such programs will lead to leadership development in the younger generation, which will prepare them to lead their country or any big organization in future.
