  • West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has inaugurated the 26th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF). The festival will take place from 16 to 24 January 2021 for 8 days. The opening ceremony was attended by Bollywood superstar and brand ambassador of West Bengal Shah Rukh Khan from Virtuli Mumbai. The special feature of the ceremony is that the legendary 'Apur Sansar' by veteran filmmaker Satyajit Ray will be the inaugural film of this festival, in which 131 films from 45 countries will be screened till 13 January.
