  • The first SAARC Agricultural Cooperative Business Forum started on 29 August 2018 in the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu.This forum is being organized jointly by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Asian Farmer Organization (AFA) with the International Agricultural Development Fund.The theme of this three-day forum is "Organize and strengthen familial farmers"
  • Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a license to the Bank of China for trading in India. It is China's second largest public sector bank, listed on Hong Kong and Shanghai Stock Exchange. Bank of China is the second bank in China, which will open its branch in India, its first branch will be opened in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  • American company Walmart has bought India's largest e-commerce company Flipkart on May 09, 2018. Wal-Mart CEO has announced to buy a 77% stake in Flipkart for $ 16 billion (one lakh five thousand 360 crore). This is Walholm's largest acquisition so far.
  • India and Iran signed nine agreements, including avoiding double taxation, easing the visa process and confirming extradition treaty.
