National Science Day is celebrated every year on 28 February in India under the aegis of the National Council of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology to create awareness and create a scientific temper in society about the benefits of science.
National Science Day History
28 February 1928 was a great day in India when the invention in the field of Indian science was completed by the famous Indian physicist Chandrashekhar Venkata Raman. He was a Tamil Brahmin and he is the First person in the field of science to research such an invention in India.
In order to always remember and honor this program in the future, the Indian Government was asked to designate 28 February as National Science Day in India by the National Council for Science and Technological Communication in the year 1986.

The basic objective of National Science Day is to attract and inspire young students toward science and to make the public aware of science and scientific achievements.
