2022 ICC Women's World T20 World Cup:

The 2022 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup is the twelfth edition of the Women's Cricket World Cup, and will be held in New Zealand from March to April 2022. It was originally scheduled for 6 February to 7 March 2021, but was postponed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 15 December 2020, the ICC confirmed that the tournament would take place from 4 March to 3 April Will happen by 2022.

New Zealand was automatically selected to host. Originally, it was announced that three more teams would qualify from the 2017–20 ICC Women's Championship, but in 2018 this was changed to four teams plus the host team. The top three teams from the ten-team qualifiers will also play in this edition of the Women's World Cup. However, on 12 May 2020, the ICC confirmed that the qualifier tournament had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In August 2020, the ICC confirmed that the qualifier tournament would take place in 2021.
