  • Virender Sehwag is the first Indian batsman to score a triple century in Test cricket, playing an innings of 309 against Pakistan at Multan in 2004.
  • Barring Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, one or the other of the 12 Test playing teams has scored a triple century.
