Laws for Animal Welfare:

Many laws and acts have also been arranged for animal welfare. For example, "Cruelty to Animals Act 1835" which is the first act in the context of animals in the world, which was established in Britain. After this the "Animal Protection Act 1911" came to light. As a result of which a US national law called "Animal Welfare Act, 1966" came to light to protect animals.

In India, for the protection of animals, the “Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1966” was introduced. It was in the year 1965 that the UK government started an investigation campaign for the welfare of animals. The principal investigator of this campaign was Prof. Roger Brambell. This campaign was started in view of the concerns raised in the book "Animal Machine" by Ruth Harrison. This book was published in 1964.

In this context Professor Roger Brambell presented his report. Based on this report, the British Government established the "Animal Welfare Advisory Committee" in 1967. Later this committee was converted into "Farm Animal Welfare Council" in the year 1979. According to the first guidelines of this committee, it was said that first of all the animals should have the freedom to sleep and stand. At the same time, they should also have the freedom to move and move.

In the UK, the "Animal Welfare Act 2006" led to a number of consolidations in the context of animal welfare. Several organizations have since launched several campaigns under the guidelines of the United Nations (A Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare).

Ethically, the United Nations in its Universal Declaration calls for recognition of animals as sentient beings in the context of pain and suffering. After this, he also said that all the welfare work done in respect of animals is in the form of social service.
